Sweden’s design scene is globally renowned for its functional minimalism and high standard of craft. Yet, thousands of exceptionally skilled international female and non-binary designers relocating here find themselves isolated, locked out of closed networks, and facing structural barriers.

Visible Designers Sweden was born out of a simple observation: talent is global, but networks are local. Many newcomers arrive with decades of collective experience working for leading global brands, only to be met with silent application portals, requests for local language fluency even in international environments, and a general lack of visibility.
Our founder and core team, having gone through the migration journey themselves, decided to build the table instead of waiting for a seat. We established this collective to serve as a beacon—providing immediate professional landing ground, local market contextualization, and most importantly, an undeniable showcase of brilliant designer profiles.
